Jerry has a long history in Woodworking,Furniture and Piano repairs restorations and refinishing serving local Furniture stores, Interior designers, builders and remodelers.
Has operated an Interior Painting and Interior wood finishing business for 20+ years.
A life long interest in wooden boat building has lead to the last 10 years building Traditional Small Craft mostly Sail and Rowing craft of pre-engine designs.
Jerry is a member of the Traditional Small Craft Association, and Volunteers in his home town of New Orleans at the Louisiana Maritime Museum assisting with repairs and building of Traditional local boats. He also volunteers in assisting a Youth program teaching basic boat building skills.
Under Jason Krause’s direction at North Star Forge he is currently learning Knife making skills.
