I am a soft pastel painter of “Nature’s Gardens”.  My inspiration is nature’s perfect set-up: where rocks, trees, plants, water, and light symbolize the dynamic dance of life: renewal and submission, quiet reverence, silent communication, mystery and transformation. Also an avid gardener, it is not surprising that much of my subject matter comes from my own garden.

Soft pastels provide wide possibilities for me, from manipulating their brilliant and subtle colors to an infinite variety of textures; smooth and blended to multiple layering and stroking techniques.
